Informational Sessions
At Hoosier Academic Coaching, we not only believe that applications and scholarships are vital to academic development, but that basic knowledge and marketing skills prove themselves useful through the competitive process.
This is why we offer group informational sessions on the basics of what students’ should know for when they arrive at college so they can put forth the best version of themselves.
We also offer informational sessions dedicated to parents or guardians to help them understand the process, especially for those who have never applied or are confused by the evolving nature of college admissions (see below).
Some of the informational sessions we offer to those enrolled in our program cover the following topics:

- An Introduction to Research
- The Basics I Should Have Been Taught In High School: A Resume v. CV
- University Involvement Outside of the Classroom: Fraternities, Sororities, Studying Abroad, and other Activities

- How to Stay Organized: Letters of Recommendation and Deadlines
- I Want to Attend Graduate School: What I Need to Know Before I Begin Undergrad

For Parents and Guardians
We understand the college admissions process can be daunting. This is why with all of our college planning packages we have informational sessions that are geared exclusively toward parent and guardian concerns.
Additionally, each college planning package provides parents with a one-hour one on one consultation that can address any questions or concerns you may have with or without your student present.
